SonSon begins the game with 14 bars in his health meter. He can obtain 2 more for every Yashichi that he either finds or purchases, up to a maximum of 24 bars. SonSon is a very good jumper. He can leap up, or to the side in either direction. If you hold the direction pad up while jumping, he will jump a little higher.
