筑波大学によるつくば市消防本部跡地利用計画（pfi事業） 進展を見せつつある「生命と環境」 を共通キーワードにする3つの学類，すなわち「生物学類」「生物資源学類」「地球学類」から構成されています。 Understanding of agro-biological systems are key to humanity's continued development. The College of Agro-Biological Resource Sciences has approximately 120 professors and around 600 students. Research in the College is diverse, including biological sciences for agriculture, advanced life sciences, environmental engineering, and socioeconomics. This program consist of 8 research fields, Taxonomy & Evolution, Ecology, Plant development & physiology, Animal development & physiology, Molecular cell biology, Genome informatics, Advanced cell biology, Advanced molecular biology.
